Neon Audio LLC (“Neon Audio,” “we,” “us”) is a one-person studio based in Las Vegas, Nevada. This policy explains what information the website at neonaudiollc.com collects, why, and what we do with it. In short: we collect only what you send us, we don’t sell it, and we don’t track you.

What we collect

• Information you give us. If you subscribe or send a project brief, we receive the details you enter — such as your email address and, for a brief, your name and information about your project.
• Basic request data. When you submit a form, we record your IP address and a timestamp along with it, to keep records and prevent abuse.
• No third-party tracking. We use no advertising, no advertising networks, and no third-party analytics service. Our analytics software runs on our own server and sets no cookies (see “Analytics” below).
• One functional cookie. When you unlock the free browser tools with your email, we set a single cookie on your device so the tools stay unlocked when you come back. It holds a random identifier and nothing else — no name, no email, no browsing history — and it is used only to recognise that this browser has unlocked the tools. It is not used for advertising, profiling, or tracking you across other sites. Clearing your cookies simply means unlocking again.

Microphone

The homepage has an optional “React to sound” feature that makes the background waveform respond to sound. It is off by default and only turns on if you click it and grant your browser’s microphone prompt. When on, audio is analyzed live in your browser to animate the page — it is never recorded, stored, or sent to us or anyone else. You can turn it off at any time.

How we use your information

• To reply to you and discuss your project.
• To send something you asked for, such as a free pack download link.
• To operate and protect the site.

When you submit a form, we send ourselves a notification so we can respond. To do this we rely on an email service (to deliver messages like a download link) and a private messaging service (to alert the owner of new inquiries). These providers process the information only to deliver those messages.

Analytics

To understand how people find the site — for example, which link sent you here during a promotion — we run Umami, an open-source analytics tool, on our own server. It is not a third-party service: it is not Google Analytics, no advertising network is involved, and the data is never sent to another company. The tracking script is served from neonaudiollc.com itself, so your browser makes no request to any outside company when you visit.

It uses no cookies and does not follow you across other websites. For each page view it records the page, the time, the referring link, and general technical details — browser, operating system, device type, screen size and country. To count returning visitors without identifying them, your IP address and browser user-agent are combined into a one-way hash that changes daily. Your IP address is not stored in the analytics data, and that hash cannot be reversed to identify you or used to follow you from one day to the next.

We also keep a plain server log of page views (page, time, referring link). Neither record is ever shared or sold. The one cookie we set is the tool-unlock cookie described above, which is not part of analytics and is never used to measure or track browsing.

Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your information. We share it only with the service providers described above, as needed to run the site, or if required by law.

Retention

We keep your email and any details you send until you ask us to remove them, or until they’re no longer needed for the purpose you contacted us about.

Your choices

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your information, or to unsubscribe, at any time — just email TJ@neonaudiollc.com. We honor these requests regardless of where you live, including rights under laws such as the GDPR and CCPA.

Children

This site is not directed to children and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.

Changes

We may update this policy; the “last updated” date above will change when we do.
